Looking back at our events 2021
Jennie Nyström, event manager at Tell Media Group, looks back at our year of events.
Despite the ongoing pandemic we’ve had a busy year with many great and interesting events. Going into 2021, we had planned for the first events of the year to be virtual and with our now familiar, well-working online model, our roundtable discussions were held with participants from both the buy- and sales-side across the Nordics and Europe.
Although we had to postpone our annual Nordic Fund Selection Forum earlier in the year when the pandemic was still affecting meetings and travel, we were nevertheless able to host the event live in September at a familiar setting at Operakällaren in Stockholm. We gathered a good set of investors, with a few of the speakers participating virtually which worked out very well. We were also able to offer the event virtually to those that couldn’t attend in person. We very much enjoyed the day with many interesting presentations and discussions with industry peers.
We were also very happy that we were able to host another one of our popular events, the annual Nordic Fund Selection Awards, as a live event in November at the magnificent Grand Hôtel Stockholm. The day started off with the Awards Seminar with many interesting presentations from participating fund managers and key note speakers, and the day was concluded with the Awards dinner where the best selection teams in the region were awarded.
